I’m Sukanya Roy, an incoming Assistant Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the UCL School of Management.

I study the sustainability of complex collaborative systems, with a particular interest in business-government interactions and their consequences for the energy transition. I leverage a range of methods, including regression and network analyses of archival data, computational text analysis, and semi-structured interviews and fieldwork, to examine cross-level and cross-sector mechanisms by which social structures shape collective outcomes. My research interests include business sustainability, interorganizational networks, international business, and nonmarket strategy.

I received my BA with Honors in International Relations from Brown University, and my PhD in Management and Organizations from the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business. You can find my CV here or reach me at sukanya.roy@ucl.ac.uk.
